When a CAM unit is installed in a telecom station, it filters the outside air (used to lower the interior temperature) and prevents dust from entering the telecom station.

The CAM unit can be used in (existing) ductwork, such as air treatment or conditioning systems. It helps to remove all kinds of pollution from the indoor air. Indoor air can contain millions of invisible but harmful particles, including dust, microorganisms (bacteria, viruses and moulds), pollen, hair, aerosol and tobacco smoke.

The indoor and outdoor air is cleaned in successive treatment phases. The prefilter captures the coarser dust and other pollutants, such as sand and outside dust. The electrostatic main filter captures the other, smaller pollutants as small as 0.01 micron (= 0.00001mm!). This electrostatic filter combines efficient filtration with minimum airflow resistance. The CAM filters have an open structure and are highly suitable for installing in (existing) ductwork.
